Have you ever wondered what to call you Spirit Guide? I did, so I just asked, what is your name? The very first name that popped in my head was Hope. Then I asked Hope to confirm the name by having it show up in my life within the next 3 days. Easy enough, right? I was driving to my cousin Cathy’s house when I asked, late at night on my way to a cousin weekend!! When I got there she had a gift bag ready on my bed- in that gift bag was a magnet for my fridge that said “Hope anchors the Soul”- I was excited and to be honest a little shocked!

It is just that easy- our guides want us to communicate with them and the first step is to ask.

The root chakra is located at the base of the spine around the tailbone. Its color is red. “My root chakra is grounded and strong so that I may remain centered and calm I see the deep red energy of my root chakra”.

The Sacral Chakra is orange. It is below the naval to the pelvis. “My sacral chakra is open and bright so that I can create and thrive. I see the bright orange energy of my sacral chakra”.

The Solar Plexus chakra is yellow. It is above the naval to the ribs. “My solar plexus chakra is bright and beautiful so that I may shine to everyone around me. I see the bright, yellow energy of my solar plexus chakra”.

The Heart Chakra is green. It is at your heart center. “My heart chakra is open and full of love so that I love and be loved I see the bright green energy of my heart chakra”.

The Throat Chakra is blue. It is at the throat center. “My throat chakra is open and flowing so that I may speak my truth with kindness and honesty I see the bright blue energy of my throat chakra”.

The Third Eye Chakra is violet between above the eyebrows. “ my 3rd eye is open, so I may see what Spirit is showing me. I see the bright violet energy of my throat chakra”.

The Crown Chakra is white. It is above the crown of the head. “My crown chakra is open and flowing with bright white light coming in from the universe, filling my body and soul I see the bright white energy of my crown chakra“.

How do you truly manifest abundance? Manifesting takes equal parts of focus and action. Focus on what your goals are, write them down. This puts them into the universe and it also is a way for you to visualize what you want to manifest. Once you see exactly what it is that you want, ask the question how do I get from here to there? How do I get to where I want to be? Write down your steps so that you can see them and put energy into those steps and into yourself, into your goals. Energy is movement. Let your energy move forward. Remember to show gratitude for every step that you take on your manifesting journey.

Focus + Energy + Gratitude =Manifesting

I was raised by a very Catholic family. No ghost or talking to the dead! Well at least until my mom started to go with me to Spirit Fairs about 5 years before she passed away in 2015. She was witness to my dad coming through to the medium and giving a message with concrete evidence that it was him. She went from being a skeptic to being a full believer! We had some of our best times talking about the afterlife and tarot cards. She was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 2012. She fought until October 3, 2015. The week before when she knew her time was growing closer, we laid in her bed and talked about her transition and how she thought it might be.  Who would she get to see on the other side? My dad, her husband of 24 years and her parents and her big brother. Do not get me wrong, she feared the unknown, but she had faith that was as strong as anyone I had ever met.  As we laid there, I reminded her that she and I would still be able to communicate since I have been talking to people on the other side since I could remember. She looked at me stunned and said, “I have no idea how to do that”! I guaranteed her that someone over there would show her how. It might not be for a while, but I was positive that she would get the hang of it.

If you knew my mom, she could do anything, absolutely anything. My dad had passed over 30 years before, so she was used to doing anything that needed to be done by herself. She prided herself in that. She would always say “I can do it; I am Ted Dunn’s daughter after all”. That was my grandpa, more on him later.

So, it was no surprise that within a couple of months my oven light started going on and off. I remember sitting on the couch and thinking what the heck is wrong with that. I was still in such a state of grief that it never occurred to me that it was her. Then every day I would happen to look at the clock and it was 12:17pm EVERYDAY!  I would say welp it’s my birthday again. Still not connecting the dots! My mom loved to celebrate our birthdays. Cake, ice cream, presents and feeling that we were the most special people in the world. So of course, she is going to show me my birthday!

My dad has always left me quarters from heaven. No pennies from him, he went right to the big coin! I would find them on my car seat, in the middle of my bed, on the floor that I had just swept. I know they were from him and love it so much. Then I started finding dimes – just like the quarters I have been finding for years.

Then it hit me – My gosh this is mom! She was probably on the other side shaking her head at me. The daughter that could talk to the dead, read energy, and give messages from Spirit could not recognize her own mom.

Since that Aha moment we connect all the time. Of course, it is not the same as if she was here in the physical, but it is beautiful and loving.

Please know that if your loved one has passed from this physical life, you can still connect with them. They will leave you coins, you might see an orb in a picture or notice your birthday on the clock.

In 2017 I was scheduled to take my Registered Health Information test at the testing center in OKC. It was a three-hour test and when I tell you I was terrified of not passing, I WAS TERRIFIED of not passing! I even stayed the weekend at my aunt’s house to focus on studying. 

Monday morning 10:00am I parked took some deep breaths and walked in and took the elevator to the 8^th floor. Now I was early, my test was not until 10:45 but I needed to be in there just in case I got the time wrong. Elevators opened and a sweet lady was sitting right there on a bench. She looked at me and said, “We have been waiting for you” Well, I panicked. Was I late? Did someone call? How did she know who I was? She walked me to the testing center and as she walked around the corner she said to the woman at the front desk “can you check her in for me”? So, I gave her my ID and as she looked it up, she told me my locker would be number 8 and I could leave my items there while I tested.  As soon as she gave me the lock she reached and said “No- you should have locker 11. So, locker 11 it is and I put my purse in and headed around the corner to take my test. It was a glass room with computers lining the walls. The nice woman who met me at the elevator was there along with people taking test. I felt like I was going to pass out! Here we go I thought, let’s do this! She then said you will go in and sit at desk number 8 you have 3 hours to take the test. If you need anything raise your hand but do not speak. As I turned to walk in, she touched my shoulder and said “Wait, you need to go to desk 11” I turned and said ok, still so nervous I honestly did not care which desk I was at. Then she said, “you will do fine, people will feel comfortable talking to you and you will be able to help them”. Wait! I questioned her about the test I was taking- I am taking the Health Information Test, not the Therapist test. She only replied with “I know”. I went and took the test and within 3 hours, I had passed.

I told the story of the odd coincidences to several people and then it hit me. 11!! My Guides, Angels, Mom and Dad and all of my ancestors had been there that day to support me. They were sending me signs to relax it will be okay!! Trust in Spirit and look for the signs my friends.
